KBX102S 10A Battery Equalizer – 12V 24V 48V Battery Pack Balancer

The KBX102S 10A Battery Equalizer is an intelligent battery balancing device designed for battery systems consisting of two or more 12V batteries connected in series or or parallel. It continuously monitors 12V battery voltage and automatically transfers energy between batteries to maintain an equal state of charge, preventing voltage imbalance that can reduce battery performance and lifespan.

Battery packs naturally become unbalanced over time due to variations in battery chemistry, internal resistance, temperature, and age. The KBX102S actively equalises each battery during both charging and discharging, helping maximise battery capacity, improve efficiency, and extend the service life of the entire battery bank.

Featuring a built-in LCD battery monitor, high-precision balancing circuitry, and a high current balancing capability of up to 10A, the KBX102S is ideal for use in solar energy systems, RVs, caravans, marine applications, electric vehicles, UPS systems, mobility equipment, and industrial battery installations.

Installation

The KBX102S installs directly across two series-connected 12V batteries.

• Connect the red wire to the positive (+) terminal.
• Connect the black wire to the negative (−) terminal.
• Connect the remaining wires as shown in the wiring diagram for the battery pack.
• Ensure any unused battery wires are safely insulated to prevent short circuits.
